Deposit, Insurance and Salik Explained
Before renting a car in Dubai, check more than the headline daily rate. Huracan Evo confirms a quote for your selected vehicle, dates and rental arrangement. This guide explains the questions to resolve before booking.
Deposit and no-deposit options
No-deposit options are available, but a deposit may apply depending on the car and rental conditions. Ask which option applies to your chosen vehicle, whether an additional fee applies, how payment is handled and what happens at return. Do not assume the same arrangement applies to every listing.
Mileage allowance
The standard allowance is 250 km per day. Your agreed allowance and extra-kilometre rate can vary by vehicle and rental arrangement. For a longer road journey, request the allowance for the full rental period and ask how any excess distance is calculated.
Insurance cover and excess
Ask for the insurance cover, applicable excess, exclusions and incident procedure in writing. An insurance excess is the amount you may be responsible for under the applicable cover. Confirm the actual amount with our team; this guide does not quote an unverified excess or promise that every type of damage is covered.
Salik, fuel and fines
Ask how Salik tolls are billed, whether an administration charge applies, and how you will receive the breakdown. Confirm the fuel level at handover and the required return level. Check how traffic fines and any related administration charges are handled. These items should be clear in your rental quote and agreement.
Delivery and permitted driving
Delivery across Dubai is free. Agree the address and handover time with our team. Oman travel and off-road driving are not allowed.
